It’s that time of the year again, Valentine’s Day! Have you been too busy with work and life? Forgot to book reservations for dinner or even plan out one of the most dreaded days of the year? This time, you should try something original or new with your significant other.

Beach Date

Pack a blanket, a bottle of champagne, two glasses, chocolate covered strawberries and drive on over to the beach. Enjoy one of the best times of the day, sunset, while enjoying each other’s company with amazing, soothing views.

Recreate the First Time You Met

A lot of people like to recreate their first date, but why not recreate the first time you met. What is more romantic than recreating the first time you met the love of your life. Where did you meet your significant other? I met my significant other at a Tampa Bay Rays baseball game and the rest is history.

Dinner and Drive-In

Remember the days of Danny and Sandra hanging out at the drive-in? Drive-in’s used to be a thing of the past, but they are getting quite popular with the new generation. Sit cozy and comfortable in your vehicle with your significant other and don’t forget to pick up some dinner to eat at the drive-in.

Try Somewhere New to Eat

Instead of going to the same restaurant and getting the same meal you always get, why not try a place totally new for the both of you. You already know that most of the expensive restaurants will be overbooked and you definitely don’t want to deal with those crowds or pricey. A great reference to find a restaurant is Yelp. I find that a lot of hole in the wall or hidden restaurants are the ones with the best food and service.

When it comes to Valentine’s Day, there should be more to this day than expensive flowers, dinners, and gifts. Some people forget that this day is a day to show love and attention to your loved ones. But remember to enjoy the day whether you are single or taken!
